Hi! I’m Tammy, so glad you’re here.
A little about me, and then I want to hear about YOU!
I discovered photography as a third grader. I vividly remember my father and I crafting my first camera from poster board and tin foil. But before landing in photography, I spent most of my career in banking and several years working in refugee resettlement, including time overseas serving in a Syrian refugee camp.
Today, I’m fortunate to be living out my passion professionally and to have perfected my craft under veteran photographers Kate Weaver and John Silla.
So what do I love most about my work?
Documenting life and translating it into striking images is thrilling. But getting to know humanity, hearing someone’s story is even more fulfilling. I’m a global citizen at heart and believe our universal human experience is defined in the authentic stories we share.
What do I do when I’m not behind the camera? I make the most of each day with my husband, Heff, our rescue dogs, Rhodie and Emmentaler, and our chickens and bees.
Is there anything else you should know about me? I love classic rock and I’ll always say yes to a live concert.
Can't wait to meet you and learn your story!
Peace, love and warm memories,
