What Is Architecture & Design Photography?

We love working with other creatives! Here at Heartifacts Photo we understand the creative process and the need to highlight and celebrate artistry. We work with interior designers, architects, builders and cabinet makers to illuminate their creations and capture the beaty of their craftsmanship and design.

Whether you need images for your website, social media or advertising, we want to help create stunning images that capture the creative soul put into your design work. We photograph both interiors and exteriors and multiple and single room jobs. Through an initial consult, we will work to understand your needs and create a customized photoshoot experience to meet those needs. We are also willing to consult on-site at a particular time of day to best understand any natural light considerations. You know your work best and we understand fully the importance of making your creation shine. On the day of our shoot, we will bring all necessary equipment, do another on-site walk through and fully review the shot list and focus areas prior to beginning. Post shoot, images will be retouched and uploaded to a password protected proof gallery for review.

Photographing architecture and design requires an experienced photographer that appreciates and understands subtle details, is patient with staging and using natural light, and listens to how you, the artist, want your work to be celebrated.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your coverage area?: Our coverage area extends from piedmont of NC and SC and westward. Travel beyond this regional area is available for a fee.
What if I need to reschedule my session?: You must notify me within 48 hours of your session to reschedule your appointment without fee.
Do I need to be present for the shoot?: Yes. We ask that the designer be present to stage the home or office. The interior designs are your creation and it is important that your voice and views are part of the process.
When will I receive proofs?: You will receive an e-mail with a link to a secure on-line, password protected gallery within 7-10 business days of your session.
So many choices … What if I can’t decide?: Your on-line gallery will remain accessible for 30 days, during which time, we will schedule a personalized consultation to identify the best product combinations to fit your budget and memory preservation goals. Our conversation will help inform and guide your selection. We’re here for you every step of the way!
When will I receive my product order?: Typical turnaround time for printed products is 3 to 4 weeks after order is placed. Digital prints will be delivered within 24 hours of payment receipt.
Can I Share Digital Proofs?: All images are copywritten and may not be screenshot and publicly shared without purchasing the digital image file and receiving a release. Photographic images are the culmination of countless hours of an artist’s time and talent dedicated in pursuit of the perfecting their art form. Thank you for respecting the artistic and creative process.
When is payment due?: Session fees are payable prior to the day of the photoshoot. Digitals, prints and custom orders are separately priced and payments are made at the time of purchase.
